Can anyone clue me in on the best route and place to park for SART? Some friends and I are looking to do 25-30 miles with as much single track as possible.

Thumbs up

Start from in back of the Post Office in Angelus Oaks.. take the single track east to South Fork Campgrounds and back... 97% single track. The trails in great shape right now and the weather's perfect!

Enjoy!

You can park just outside of town on your left (after you've gone through the very small town of Angelus Oaks) it's a really big turnout/parking lot.....Anywhere you park you'll need your forest pass (even the post office)

Anyone want a Sunday ride? I'm going to be over there doing the extra credit P.O. to South Fork and back loop.

I was going to start around 8:30 or so - no particular time since I was going by myself. I can ususally do the entire loop in 3 hours (+/- 30 min).

Not sure yet, some friends at work threw it out there today. Thanks for all the info, sounds like it's mostly an out and back. Is there a loop?
