Default One ride leads to another- ARIZONA!

Now, I am in Arizona- spending time with my Mom..All riding must be done before 9 AM or after 7PM- the temps hover in the 105-110 range during the day, but I have managed to do some sweet riding. I didnt have the memory card in my camera yesterday - so cant post some of the pics from Catalina State Park yet-but my Mom took some good ones. The Riillito River Trail is a paved, shaded ride along the river.. Lots of wildlife- even a coyote trotting along, but he got away before I could get a picture. Last night we had a spectacular thunderstorm- so after the folks went to bed, warning us to stay inside- my son Chris and I ook off on the bikes to enjoy the rain, lightning and thunder!

You are riding out there you are nuts! Last week it was 118-120 when I was there all I wanted was to be in a pool.

I think those are prairie dogs and jack rabbits. I know, what does it matter, neither one is good eatin'.

Brenda - I thought I just read another RR that said you were in Canada? Are you creating your own Tour Divide? If so, you're making pretty good time!

Beware of the jackalopes. They hunt around sunrise/sunset.

John,
Yes, we are having fun- just getting ready to drive home now though...
CalEpic,
Those rabbits are HUGE! When they stand up to run, they look like small mangy coyotes, with giant ears!
Solo,
We are on a road trip extravaganza! We were only home last wknd to do the Switchback clinic, do some laundry, and we were off to AZ... coming back today for the Vintage, then off to ?????
Jordan,
It has only been 110 this week- we had a spectacular monsoon yesterday! I only ride early am, and then again in the evening...
Nancy,
When am I gonna see you on a TA ride again?!??
