Default Canadian Express

Now, I should be tired after driving 1200+ miles- but I am overcome by the beauty and the trails in Vancouver, so I am off on my bike as soon as I get the kids settled in the hotel . Its about 3PM, and I have to call Kristine to try and describe how wonderful it feels to reach my destination, and be on my bike in this country. Of course we have talked every day since I left, but somehow the good energy of this place fills me with unspeakable joy. I rode for about 4 hours along the ocean- there are people on this trail picking berries along the way, riding with their children or dogs, but everyone here is smiling from ear to ear, as if they know that this is the best kept secret in the world... I saw the Olympic village being built for the winter games in Whisler- dog parks full of friendly people and dogs, and stopped in at a bike shop just to chat up the nice mechanics and talk about riding.. The sun set about 9:30 PM- so I decided to go back and call it a day- the pictures speak for themselves....

Talking Young female grasshopper....

You be careful up there with those wild Canadian boys ... the next thing we know you'll be saying "aboot" instead of about.

We all enjoy the pictures... and why is the sky so dark???
