Default Seattle Seaboard

Next, on my excellent adventure is a stop in Seattle..Its a lot like San Francisco, hilly and such , and very biker friendly. After a five hour drive, a cold brew, I set off for the Seattle Seaboard. The guy at the hotel reception questioned my ability to handle the hills as I wheeled my bike through the lobby, I just smiled and said- "you would be surprised at what I can do!" Again, beautiful weather, nice people, and miles of trails. I rode the trial north for an hour, then turned around through the wharfs and sea of people to Safeco field, and back to Pikes Place. I have for years wanted to visit the fish market after reading the book "FISH", and carried my bike up 5 flights of stairs before I saw the elevator! Oh well, it was great exercise....The marketplace was amazing! On to the pics.............

My brother and sister live up there and brought back memories. Looks like the weather was great. Pikes is awesome, its the best fish anywhere. (Except for Lobster in Maine, only if you consider them fish)

I LOVE Seattle!!! We went for two days last year at the end of our Rainier trip...OMG the best place ever! It reminded me so much of the Northeast for some reason...reminded me of home...

Got any more RR up your sleeve??

It cost me 13 bucks to get to the space needle and once I'm on top I was wondering why is this so..........not tall? Stratosphere is way taller and cooler!

Great shots Brenda. We have a lot of family up that way (Tacoma/Oak Harbor) and we love it. Problem is I also enjoy loooong summers and warmer weather of which Seatlle only has a little bit of. We still stop at the fish market to watch them throw the fish around.
