OUCH! I thought kids were supposed to bounce! Heal up fast and I hope it doesn't hurt to bad.

Ouch, poor Bailey! The look in her eyes says it all, "I'm not happy right now!"
Nothing worse then seeing your kids get hurt. not your fault, Fred. It's just the way it goes sometimes so don't beat yourself up too much. Luckily, nothing was broken. Best of luck!

Considering her scrapes are on her face and it's summer time, be careful with her in the sun. You should pick-up Mederma. It will help with the scaring and healing.

I guess we now need to be on the lookout for runners that think they own the trail too. I thought he was going to take Willie out. Good thing he was alone!

I didn't arrive until later and missed you guys. My son wanted to join me for a spin on his bike and my buddy Bski didn't get off work until later so we loaded up the truck and hit Peter's around 6:45p.

Bski has been off the trails for about 4 months due to a shoulder surgery. He stepped it up and attacked the hills yesterday. It's great to have him back on two wheels! While he's still not 100%, he's giving 100% effort.

My son put forth tons of effort and made dad proud. While he walked most of the hills, he definitely pushed his limits. He actually ENJOYED riding with me for a change . Once we made it back to the truck he said he wanted to ride with us all the time. So... hopefully he'll stick with it, increase his bike handling skills and strength and you'll all be seeing him on a Taco Tues. group ride. He really wants to complete a Fully loop one of these days as well

Hope to see you all soon.

Good times yesterday! Thanks for the pics Nan! You forgot one other sign of summer, however:

The bogus surfer-runner dudes are out in full swing. They do not like girls on pink bikes who go too fast UP the hill, while they are running DOWN the hill. Further, one shouldn't stay on the right hand side of the trail, because this confuses their backward-ass minds. So slow it on down while climbing those hills folks -- your uphill speed might startle and discourage these fragile creatures.

Hope Bailey heals fast and complete. Zinc is another great healer that reduces scaring. I use Zinca (pardon me Willimena) like the surfers
