on a routine expedition

Bellflower BMX - 6/23
CBharping and I headed out to Bellflower BMX on Monday, since the weather finally cooled down a bit. I opted to not ride and to take pics instead.

 I barely talked myself out of going last night. I wish I'd known you guys were there. Carla looks great on the bike!! I love her "gate-face", and the ones where she looks like she's gonna kill you if you take her picture again..... Nice shots Eric!! |

Got the Whistler blues...
|
I didn't get to ride all weekend because of work so I was grateful for the cooler weather. Thanks Eric for the great pics!
We were hoping to see some STR peeps, our decision to go was very last minute. Maybe next week? Come join us! |

Old School BMXer

I was planning on going. I had the bikes loaded with me at work, but a toothache in the afternoon took away my motivation.
BTW, there is a state championship qualifier at Orange on Sunday, so if you want to see a bigger race, come on out to Orange on Sunday. Because it's a larger race, the schedule is different. Signups open are from 10-12 am, and racing will start after that and probably go all afternoon. There will probably be more than the usual amount of people practicing on Friday night.
