Two riders made the front page of the local North County Times, but the MTB aspect was incidental to the story about the geology of the ancient volcano. Nice picture though. I ride there a lot but don't recognize them. Sure was hot out there Saturday!

I had no idea of the volcano aspect of Calavera. Now that I know, I like that place even more. Pretty cool to think that we're riding in an old volcano. Thanks for the edgamacation Old Dog.![]()
