Thanks. Talk about a pukefest!

ps I voted for your Hell Ride! Hopefully you'll get in! I would LOVE to read the report on that one!

in college, lot's of people I knew would ride down Gibraltar on long skateboards (standing up)! Total organ donors. (I did it as a seated luge once, FUN!)

I have ridden up Gibraltar Road - the 10 mile climb I think you are talking about - on the rigid SS on Stans Crows & geared 32x18, and I started that ride from the beach. It was painful, but the views from the top make it worthwhile. Good VQ training I guess. Lance Armstrong has used that climb for TDF training. It is a brutal, sustained bumpy paved climb with very little relief. Shuttle is the way to go - i just feel guilty asking my wife to drive me up when she knows I can ride it.

Yup! That's the road. It's a pain in the butt to shuttle. I think I would rather climb it.

Daily thought: some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs!
