The removal of Deliverance was done by off duty firemen, I know one of them that worked that day, and he made bank.
I could care less who was used, if the rangers want trails removed, they go down and do it themselves.

Also, I never claimed that a Ranger flattened Cholla, read the post.

I do claim I have seen CAT operators in what looked to be like ranger uniforms doing whatever out there.

In my opinion it seems really silly to claim CAT's don't cause more damage than a shovel.

I really have to be careful not to flame here.

By manage do you mean 'operate'? A previous poster had a good point about rangers or park management or whoever is responsible not properly supervising the operation of the bulldozers, resulting in habitat being destroyed. (ie. Cholla and Ticketron) And it does bring to mind the hypocrisy of closing a singletrack for 'habitat restoration' when bulldozers are driving through and destroying other habitat.

It doesn't matter if Ghandi was driving the CAT or whoever else, a CAT up singletrack does permanent damage.
