I may be spoiled because I get to ride this place weekday AMs early but still...

I bailed out Mathis from top of the world.

Mark - I saw you cruising up near top-of-the-world on the tandem this morning. I was trying to mutter your name; however, I was still sucking wind from the Canyon Acres climb! You guys look bad@$$! riding that thing!

I'm guessing you were the one with cleats?? Oh well, bummer I missed you! Anyhow, yeah, it was a lot of people...but with a large beginner ride, these are things you just have to understand are going to happen.

The group DID stay together just fine, with Pato always at the end of the 2-3 smaller groups we eventually split into. Mikey did a great job shuffling back and forth making sure all the sub-groups were making the right turn-offs too. We had one mechanical (2 flats in a row, same bike!) that split the last couple of riders off from the rest, but they were communicating on FRS and Paco brought up the rear, and we all ended up together again at Cholla by the cars.

Had fun riding with you guys...hope you did too! Starting at Cholla sure wakes up the legs fast! I didn't feel "warm" until we were on the way back to the cars though.

Nice seeing you all on top of Cholla. I intended to ride w/ the group to top-of-the-world; however, my legs were absolutely toast after climbing Canyon Acres.

I did an early lap with the Adrenaline shop guys at 7:00. Up Cholla over to Rock-It, Coyote and back to Cholla to meet with the Pugz group.

I rode by a group of STR's today, julia12 was there.
Called out, What's up STR, as I continued on to ride up Mathis.

After meeting up with the main group we headed from MILF over to Cholla and eventually over to Meadows and down to the fire road where we hit Dripping Cave, Coyote and out.
