Fun ride today. Must have been at least 15 peeps? Typical loop. alot of smiles, some smack talk (yes, gabe was in attendence) and no carnage (unless we're gonna count rawheads tip in the parking lot
)Some had to run home but others stayed true to the ride and hit the tacos and beer. Appears the ride royalty and our standing fearless ride leader Shedevil was not able to join in (hope you are feeling better) but Dusty took charge and did a rock solid job leading the crew. As always good stuff and great seeing old faces and continuing to meet some new ones ![]() Some pics when i remembered to take camera out - kick a$$ van on way to park - the man the legend steppie (yes he cleaned big red on his big rig as well) - Dusty - leader extraodinaire (sp?) - Lety - little bike big heart - Group - sharing poision oaks stories ![]() - ride back dreaming of tacos and beer

We had record attendance at our Peters Canyon Taco Tuesday. There were 14 in all, with an estrogen factor of 2. The gnats were pretty much gone with the heat, so there were no pre-taco appetizers. Actually, the hiker volume was low also. Big red greeted everyone with an open trail spirit of I think I can.
The fish house was a gracious host on the patio, no heaters required. My son's friend, Dave from XC showed as a noob and did great. Steppie made an appearance and kept the pace friendly. Our visitor from Arizona compared trail notes with Steppie. Good time had by all. See you next week. Thanks for the post, Shedevil was missed, get back in the saddle soon Last edited by genusmtbkr5; 04-29-2008 at 10:50 PM. Reason: merged with existing thread |

Yeah great ride. I got home and the girlfriend asked me how was the ride. I told her I cleaned Big Red on my singlespeed. She looked at me like "uh?"

Thanks for the fun ride. I wasn't sure if I would be able to make it and turns out at the last minute I was able to go. I was feeling a little burnt out but still had a good ride. Gabe says he's taking me back to practice on Big Red until I make it.
![]() Taco were great as usual. The smack talk always gets me laughing. See ya next time!

I ran into most of you on the back part of the lake loop where everyone was lined up to go down the hill and climb up the other side... I was the rider with the Dakine shirt on the silver GT i-drive. I didnt introduce myself because I was on my way out... I'll try to meet up with you all next week.

I think I saw you guys as I was hiking down Big Red. I remember a guy with an orange bike at the very end, seem as something was wrong with his bike.
