Thumbs up Holy Jim This Morning...Ruff..Ruff!

Just thought I'd throw on a few pics from my ride up Holy Jim this morning after work.

Got to the parking area at around 6:20am, and got attacted by a BOBCAT!

Well, it wasn't really a Bobcat, and it sure was friendly. I don't even like cat's (sorry all you cat people) but this one was so cool I thought about taking it home.

Saw a bunch of these little guy's......

Anywhere it was shady and cool, they were everywhere. At one point I counted 8 within a 6 foot area.

And I also saw a DAWG.......

KONA DAWG SUPREME that is..........

I swapped the parts over from the hardtail, and built this bad boy up at just under 34 lbs.
Hey now, that's light for me!

It climbs and descends GREAT!

This is a shot at me trying to be a little "artsy fartsy" with my camera......

All in all it was a pretty good morning.
Now it's time to hit the hey. You all have a nice day!

Sweet! Thanks for sharing!

Went for a ride last night (6-7pm) and saw about 20 rabbits, a coyote, and a huge lizard (which I barely avoided but missed...my karma is preserved yet again )

That cat would've been coming home with me...cute!!

Maybe the newts liked the color of your bike. Their kinda the same color. Did any of them try to get close and personnel with the Dawg?

d. Nice crutch on the seatpost.

It came in one morning while I was there, so I started building it up. Went back the next morning to finish it, and Chivo had taken it home, and finished for me on his own time. He wanted to go ride with me the next day, and knew I wanted to try it out.

Yeah, they had one of last years hanging up in the raffters for the last few months, and it had been calling my name.
Karl recomended that I try out the '08, so I could let them know what I thought. There are a few things I could do to lighten it up. Tires, seatpost, coil fork. But I like my "crutches". The stock version 18 inch at The Path weighs just under 30 lbs.

I thought about taking it home if it was still there when I came back. It wasn't. I'm pretty sure it belongs to one of the locals. It was way to nice to be wild.

Nope. Stopped just short of Main Divide. My sugar was low, so I took a little break, ate a bar, took a picture, and headed downhill.
