Manah manah...

Well... other than a few regulars every week we get a few new people stirring in and out. Last week it seemed comprised of my personal neighborhood...mixing in some Warriors Society/Gene at dinner. This week I was able to meet a few new guys and definately got some fantstic signature material!!! It was great to meet you all....
![]() ![]() Rawhead and Kev doing a meet and greet in the parking lot.... Initially I'd have to say being a surfer I am pretty use to seeing guys change into wetsuits.....KEV brought it to a whole new level by changing under a Kilt and losing a corner and sharing some butt cheek. I hadn't even shaken hands yet...but I felt we were intimately connected somehow. Maybe it's just me. ![]() So Steveiebfromtheoc and Shu were fellow Heckler riders and had planned the ride together. ![]() Shu showed up with a brand new orange jersey for Steve, and of course he threw that bad boy on...along with the shades....and the matching camelbak.... Steve became truly Stevie b from the ORANGE c. ![]() Overall it was a fun ride, a few re-groups and half the crowd cleaning big red and accidentally "power sliding" the back half in the new sand grading that was unavoidable. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rawheads excellent corner management. ![]() Quotes: Rawhead: "The more I play with it, it just goes from squishy to squishier" Kid A: "D*mn...Sh*t...D*mn" (front fork issues) Shu: "I had to own a single bed because 11 aquariums in a two bedroom takes up a lot of space" Good times had by all!!!! See you next week ![]()

good stuff. great meeting new peeps. knew i was gonna be running late. was glad i could catch up to pack on hills at lake loop.
it's gonna be hard for me to make this ride as a regular with 5:30pm roll time but will do my best and as the days get longer i'm up to hook up for lap 2 (if any takers). Again fun time and thanks to all!

Hmmm, surprised you guys have never seen the kilt thing before. It works great except when I don't fasten the velcro down tight

It's CC you have to watch out for though. Kilts are perfect for "Kickstand inspections". Yeah, it was just a joke but it was pretty funny at the time. *Some people* will do anything for mardigras beads.... Seriously though. A Kilt is THE best pre-& post ride garment. Ever. Period. |

Liz...I can't say sh** when her hard tailed riding, aquafina bottle carrying, full toe basket pedaling, I personally BROKE the reflectors off her front tire myself, hiking shoed, granny sweater wearing butt smokes me on every hill....

Steve loves to rock that orange man, we just need to get him some orange socks and some orange grips to add to the beauty.
