heh well I guess that is also another good reason why they don't make a good trail side snack.

When me and my brothers were young we used to pick those and chuck them at each other. Same with Castor beans, which are also pretty poisonous.

If any of you know the RideAZ guys/gals...the TNR designation came from them. I always saw postings for TNR and had no idea WTH it was talking about.

the wild cucumber fruit dries in the summer and can be used like a loofah sponge (clean up for the apres-ride). the purple flower is called a blue dick (honest) or wild hyacinth. native americans ate the bulbs, fyi...
