RR: Sunday Morning Fully Loop 04-06-2008

What a wonderful morning we had today. Great fun and great people to ride with, what more could anyone ask more?

We got the usual Sunday morning sermon by Dino from the Church of IH. Ohyeah cleared some of the hills for the first time! And then great food at Hero's. BTW the pancakes were ginormous! But then again so was everything they serve. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the pancake.

Even if you just stop by with STR's newest member so we can all meet him, it'd be great. I know from experience that time is at a premium with a brand new little one. I'm surprised your wife will even let you say maybe.

You really needed a point or reference to scale those pancakes to. That picture doesn't quite do justice to the ginourmosity or shear intimidation caused by that plate o'carbs.


I'm telling you, it was the Kona jersey. It gave him the confidence and skill to clear that drop.

We got awesome coverage of the loop today, 3 cameras including me. We were popping out of bushes like true trail paparazzi.

Oh man does this ride keep getting better and better everytime I ride it! MUST be all the AWESOME people I'm riding with!

Yesterday was one hell of a good time; lots of laughs, lots of great jabs or "smack", lots of good convo, and lots of GREAT pointers! I learned SOOO many new skills, I'm gonna have to take a refresher course to drill them in, ha.

THANKS to all my coaches yesterday! Too many of you to name them all but especially to duke777, dino, carla!

Hereos was AWESOME even despite not being able to take full advantage mmm esp of those nachos =/ (I'm trying to stay on track still) since the company was fantastic.

Thanks again everyone for a great ride and I'll see you princesses next week LOL!!!

Kinda' short on time, will update my post later this evening. In summary....

First off, I knew the day was going to be MAGICAL when Carla and (my Hero) Marshall Willanholly *BOTH* attended the ride.

Second, the Newbs that joined us were treated to one of the most memorable STR rides I have ever attended.

Ko's new bike---- Blue Intense.... With a basket?!?! Foget abooouuuuut it. Too cool!

Ohyeah was the star of the day. Not only did she learn to descend like a pro with a few little tips (just as I promised), she ABSOLUTELY MOBBED the climbs! In her words, I LOOOOVE to climb!

She kinda' became our pseudo-ride leader/drill instructor for the day! Man, was she brutal on us! Some of her better quotes, "Let's Ride Ladies"...... "Is this a tea party or a bike ride- LET'S GO!"..... I will add a few later...

Dino's Freudian Slip of the day: I won't say what led up it. All I will say was I was riding with Duke and Ohyeah. Here goes..... "I get scared EVERY time I ride HER!!!" Ouch! Worst possible timing. Worst possible choice of words. You had to be there!

It came out of no where and I was just a hair away from falling off my bike into 60mph euclid traffic!

That was the most fun I had in a group ride in a very long time! Thanks everyone and let's do it again!
