So..I had posted the ride for Friday 3/28/08 to end my Spring Break with fun and beer. San Clemente is not close so I wanted to make a day of it and I did. Joining me on the adventure was Shrek (finally on STR), Hoosierdaddy (Jeff), and bvader (Steve). We all arrived a bit later than planned but we didn't care

. Not knowing the park we just decided to go on an adventure

Shrek and I had been here once before so we remembered SOME of the trail. Off we went winding down the first trail, over the bridges, dips and bushes.

Stopped to enjoy the pure beauty of the trail from time to time.

Ended up at the end of a trail near the road. Seeing a rider on our previous attempt at SCST we also went up the road in search of more s/t.....but NO...we found fire road and lots of it.
After some non fun climbs and steep downhills what may have glazed of Jeff's brakes we ended up WAY off course and above where we originally started

Went back to the beginning for a quick spin across the bridges for photos and to end with some fun, not pain. It paid off!

Thanks for the RR and pics

I will say that there was something extra fun about this ride for me.

New People, New Place (really fun place, very fun SS with cool little bridges et), Unbelievable Day, Playing Hooky from Work, big time Pizza.

All these thing make me a happy Rider!
