One question: where is that drop down with the hose into the start of Bell? (your first photo) I've been up and down Bell several times and have never seen that.
The embankment with the hose is off of Trabuco Rd. Once up the embankment we rode Bell View for a short distance before we got to Bell Ridge. It's at the very beginning of the ride.

Here's the GL playback: http://www.geoladders.com/gps_route_...route_id=13237

Thumbs up Awesome is a word that comes to mind....

I was planning on doing this ride..... and then I dicovered that I had to wash my hair (much more important!).... all kidding aside, major props to you guys who finished this masochistic endeavor. I've done all the sections but never at one time nor have I hiked up Bell.

You guys keep this up and you'll be as old as I am in a couple of years.

Congrats to all who participated & volunteered!

It's never to late. You can still hike up Bell. I was going to do it Saturday but am having my teeth pulled out one at a time instead.

I still have a cached brush trimmer, gas ,water, loppers, etc about 3-4 miles up there on Bell from a year or two ago while doing trail maintenance. That's how unmotivated I am to hike back up there and that's without a bike!

This ride will be entrenched in my memory for years to come. A Chiquito and Pinos ride should be cake now... Thanks to everyone who made this happen.

Anyone know if this will be an annual event? I'd like to give it a go next year as long as it doesn't interfere with the VQ.

Awesome photos on the Bill Freeman link. Love the bridge shot on Yeager..Suggest everyone check it out. Bill realy deserves alot of credit for riding all that way and taking photos along the way.

Way to go Calvin for nailing 3rd place! But seriously just to finish this grueling route in a days amount of light is very impressive!

Default yaeger

yaeger looks fun...I'm thinking a good shorter loop would be up Trabuco, along Bell ridge & down Yaeger.
Is the turnoff onto Yaeger from Bell obvious, or is it
"hidden?"

Sir Crashalot, the Yeager trurn off is not signed, (thank god) But if you are looking for it you'll see it. It's between the two hikes as your going down.

great pics. I don't think water will be an issue on Bell for a while. Thanks again. Make it into a semi-annual ride... San Gabriels, another Big Group Ride- Ride All Day!

Just is case you're planning on there being water on Bell.

All traces of that water stop have vanished. I removed it yesterday.
