Thanks dude!

I like to think I was representing for all men over 180lbs. on Sat at the Pole Cimb!

Thanks again for holding on to those medals. Next couple weeks are pretty bad for me and it seems you're riding during the day a lot.

Oh, check your PM dude. I'm sending you a google map. I'm gonna try to hit that place at lunch this week.

Carl

You guys did great! Thank you all for showing up, and congrats to everyone that made it. One guy DNF'ed the first climb, but went up a second time to clear it.

I know that Ken took all the times, but I also have the time cards. I'll try to post them by tomorrow.

Julia, you were awesome, and I believe the BIG winner! Congrats! We'll be looking for you in the future!

Start was on El morro canyon just before the Mach 1 merge and finish was just before poles merges with the singletrack coming off from the right.

You give too much credit Carl, I don't even know if I would be any faster riding a geared bike.

That guy had to go again! He was on a Carbon Fiber Orbea 29'er. If he didn't clean it, we would have had to revoke his 29er card and take his bike away!

Doubtful. I'm still thinking about one of your first STR rides we did through Whiting to Luge last year where you dropped us all like a bad habit on Modjeska grade.

Yep... who would have thought an unpatchable flat on a stupid single uphill ride

Got quite a few looks from the hikers coming up no-dogs

Man I'll tell you the run up made my glutes hurt like a SOB for two whole days...

That was an impressive flat! No one else rolled their tire and ripped off the valve stem while going up hill

Saw this going on and figured I'd see some sort of recap on here. I was going up "I think I can" and got a good shot of the race in progress. It hurts just looking at the picture. I believe I talked to hoovermd in the parking lot and saw he did it on his fixed cross bike!

Looked like good times.......
