Default Bulldozed?

Someone on MTBR said that some singletrack in Turnbull had been bulldozed. Does anyone know what trail it may have happened too?

I'd love too, but I'd have to ditch work. It seems that it happened to the Rattlesnake switchbacks. Take some good photos.

So ya . . . went to Turnbull to check out bulldozed trail which did happen to be rattlesnake. After the first fireroad climb, I went left to quickly check out friends. Thank god it was fine! Next went up a bit more and headed towards rattlesnake and sure enough I found the bulldozed trail. Another biker was climbing up from it and we chatted a bit about it, he didn't like it at all. I turned around and did 7th street, as I was worried about this trail too. But it was fine. While talking to the other rider, I forgot to snap pictures of it so I did that after 7th street - but by that time the sun was going down and the pictures suffered from lack of light.

Closeup of bulldozer tracks. . .

7th is fine!

It's not just Rattlesnake that was bulldozed. It's also the switchbacks off Turnbull Canyon Rd, which is somethign I will criticise as that trail was not in bad shape at all.

Did anybody notice the hikers-only declaration (on a sheet of paper on a stake) on the northern entrance of the northern leg of the 7th St. Loop?

we need to get back at these hikers and instead of having them get the trails closed to us we should get the trails closed to them.....lots of kids go on hiking trails into the forest to do drugs and so the trails should be closed to hikers

Didn't see that, but that's pretty screwed up if you ask me. Why are people so inconsiderate?

There's some other stuff there that's off-limits to us.

Right at marked point 10 there is a very promising-looking singletrack that is marked as off-limits to bikes. That was quite frustrating.

There is a bail-out (asphalt road) at point 11 at the radar-dished-facility-of-unknown-purpose that is marker as specifically "no bikes," which to me seems incredibly stupid.

Something else I noticed:

Between points 10 and 11, there is a singetrack heading off to the north that is marked as "no dogs." But I suspect it drops you into the property of Rose Hills Memorial Park.

I'll probably have the northern segment of Skyline Drive, "3 Bitches," and the extended loop south of Turnbull Canyon Rd. mapped out the next time I do this area.
