Great birthday ride for two cool people. Thanks to Gene for always coordinating so things work out good. Dino thanks for picking up the bike and Coleko thanks for taking Dino's bike to the loop. What would I do without you guys? Mtnbikerfred thanks for always being there for Jules. ThePhat thanks for making the bike possible. Neil thanks for your help on this bike purchase the (guidance, education).

There couldn't of been better people helping me out with this bike purchase.

Julia wanted to ride the bike in the den last night (not happening).

We had two group rides at the Loop last night our group did the newbie ride. We (newbies) took a different, shorter route to the lake. I won't say too much hoping Surlygal and MrsMtnbikerfred get on here and write about last nights ride. I have to say last night was one of favorite loop rides.

Surlgal took the lead and she's is one cool leader. Manny wouldn't have it any other way than sweeping all the girls. Mrsmtnbikerfred what an amazing person this her second ride and 1st loop, she just keeps peddaling. Nothing can stop her not even a painful cramp. My sweetie (Stef 15) a fast rider that will not stop (her thinking is the faster I ride the faster I'll be back at the trailhead/parking lot). Bailey her hard work from Peters is paying off and she's getting faster.

Thanks to everyone that showed yesterday and thanks to those that went to Roscoes' last night.

Great fun last night!

It's been about 6 or 7 month since i've been out on the loop, I wasn't sure what to expect, and to my surprise it was a great time!

I brought a friend Manny he's been trying to get into biking and after he helped a ton with our remodel of our new house, Neil surprised him with a bike for all his hard work. He's got the itch and rode the loop with Neil a few weeks ago, but got very sick

We pull into the parking lot - the Birthday Girl came right over for my Rock Star* signature on her helemt. Julia made out like a bandit and is one loved girl by mommy and STR, Julia I hope this is one birthday that you never forget!

I decided Manny and I would ride with Elvia and company (Steph - Bailey - & Mrsmtnbikefred).

We did our own loop, Up the trail to the lake - very mellow - but one of the best rides i've ever had!

Surprisingly I felt stonger than I thought and lead the group. The ride to the lake was uneventful, some hills a little too steep or long for the 1st timers to ride but they'd get right back on when they could and get pedaling again.We hooked up with the group when they crossed euclid. Manny and I rode with Neil up the little hills and single track and regrouped for everyone back at the lake. Boy Neils pace was just a bit faster than I had rode all night and my legs sure felt it.

I decided to wait for the ladies again as we were riding together and I wasn't going to ditch them.To ride the hubby

Dino and Ricky really stepped up and helped mrsmtnbikerfed when her legs were toast Elvia stayed with them too. I took Manny, Steph & Bailey back from the lake to the court house.

At this point I had the most rewardng ride of my life...........................

I was dark we all had our lights on, Steph's a trooper just riding in front and pushing the groups pace, Bailey rode like a champ! She rode eveything, I'd cheer her on when she needed to pedal a bit harder to clear something, or direct her to an easier place on the trail. She did not walk once on the way back (she did a few times on the way there) when she wanted to walk I push a bit to motivate her and she took the challenge!Manny had a blast, smiled the whole time and really had fun helping with the young ones.

I know it's the loop and an easy part of the loop a well, but the personal satisfation I got from helping someone be successful at their ride was a feeling I can not describe! It was great to lead a beginning ride and have everyone reach their goals last night!

Thanks Neil and Julia for making me come out and ride for your birthday's it was a fantastic night!

Hmmm, I kinda thought that was strange too, but if Dino would have posted them, he probably would have only posted the best one. Now that's the only thing that makes sense.
