Portuguese bend update?
Is there any update on the situation at Portuguese bend? I have been traveling a lot and missed the dramatic meetings.
I see the new approved map at http://www.mtbpv.org/ but it is still listed as closed other than the fireroads per this hard to follow map: http://www.palosverdes.com/rpv/plann...LOSURE-MAP.pdf Anyone ridden lately with the latest conditions? Are there any signs up or such? Would like to check it out first hand but want to make sure I won't have a bunch of angry people throwing rocks. |

For what it is worth. Took a quick ride at P-Bend.
Road Peppertree to Toyon to Burma Road up to the top. Then back down. No signs and no people on the trail at least that I saw from the bottom. Beautiful views and a nice warm Spring day. |
