Banned, and happy for it!

Default Limeklin Canyon

Hooked up with some riders in Northridge and explored Limeklin Canyon in the Porter Ranch area. IT WAS GREEN!!. As you can see, keeping my eyes on the trail was almost impossible with rolling hillsides and endless views grabbing my attention. Temps were in the 80's, so the weather was perfect for a ride. Not much else to say, just enjoy the pics.

Limekiln is L.A City Parkland and is illegal to ride. All L.A. City parkland trails are off limits to bikes! I know lots of people ride there and no one complains about it. I just wanted everyone to be aware of that fact! There will be a meeting sometime in June as part of the L.A. City Bicycle Master planning process regarding off road use in L.A. city and hopefully we (CORBA) and other trail users can finally get the City to see the light!

There are other popular rides in the area including: Aliso Canyon, Cascades and O' Melveny that are all on L.A. City Parkland.

Also some of those photos are on private property. Far as I know the property owner is okay with people using the trail. Hopefully it will stay that way because it is a nice trail!
