Default Big Sycamore Loop

Alpine Rob, Chipster and I had an awesome ride up in Ventura County's Pt. Mugu State Park today. The weather could not have been better. Mid 60's start in full sun. The trails were in good shape and their still was loads of green grass and wildflowers in bloom.

For those of you who have never ridden hear I highly recommend it. Here is our route on Geoladders.

After the ride we celebrated with some ice cold Port Brewing Company Shark Bite Red on the beach which had just come off the bottling line last night. Mmmmm good!

Well worth the drive for the miles of flowing singletrack.

Yeah I was sorry I had to miss the newbie ride but we had been planning this ride up north for quite some time.

Seriously this place is worth the drive. It's like Aliso or El Moro but with more singletrack and expanse. Really just alot of fun. Suggest a stop at Neptune's Nest along PCH for grub and atmosphere. It's about 2.5 miles south of Big Sycamore Trailhead on PCH.
