Default Achtung: Ticks abundant in Trabuco Canyon

I removed 5 ticks today before reaching Los Pinos peak- a new record. Watch out for them.

Piranha removed 17 from himself 3 weeks back after riding La Tuna single track one night after a rain, while I removed 4 from myself. They are out, best to check for them. They were very small, maybe 2 to 3mm in size, you had to look hard for them.

Why, everyone knows that it's the females that bite! They are always considered the dangerous ones. Besides, the male ticks are protected by the state.

The problem is telling them apart.
