Default Chiquita Ridge Singletracks

Wow what an awesome day out on the Chiquita singletracks today! Everything looked so vibrant and colorful. But maybe that's because I've been inside working for the past several weeks and not seeing much daylight.

Today Chipster and WhiteChocolate and I headed off for some fun in our backyard. We decided to do an "upside down" ride and started from Oso singletrack and climbed up to do the others. It was a bit more work but we had a blast.

Now for the pictures...

Here we are CLIMBING Rats Back. Yes you read that right! Steve found Singletrack Angels lenses she lost when she crashed on Foo's SS Luv Fest! Unfortuntely they were pretty trashed.

Simply stunning!

John, wish I could've join ya. I had Trail Assistance Volunteer orientation this morning, so I went for a quick ride at Aliso afterwards. I guess I don't have to remind you to bring your camera tomorrow. See you at about 1:30ish

I was wondering John, how do you know how to put things in the frame proper. I think I just noticed there is no space that is not fitting you're picture! If that makes sense. It is more focused and less random than the pics I take.

I think you mean framing the shot in the camera. If so, (and I don't mean to sound smug) that comes from years of experience of being a professional photographer.

Is that what you meant?

This link might be helpful.

we call this "car wash" because when you ride early in the morning w/ the morning dew it cleans up your bike from the downtube to tires in no time

I was there yesterday for the first time and dropped in on this singletrack from the top that was super overgrown. Right at the end the trail turned right and dropped a good 200 feet to the valley floor. Does anyone know the name of the steep dh. I almost crashed but luckily pulled it...I let go of the brakes a little early and maxed out at about 27 mph at the bottom... Got my heart pounding for sure!
