Default Otay Lakes Night Ride

Thanks Travis (MT_ID) for organizing the ride, we had a great turn up with a total of 9 riders: Travis(MT_ID), Andrew(Bikeadict), Kevin(Lardbutt), Amor(Amor587), Jose(Bajamtnbkr) and non-STR: Jorge, Phil, Jesus and Lito. This route is 98% single track and mostly flat with only one climb but we had some very good riders that kept a very fast pace making it a very good work out.
We had the usual year-around couple of muddy spots but just ride to the middle of it and no problem.
It was fun to see everybody at the end of the ride with all muddy faces but big smiles.
There is some interest next time to do a night ride at LPQ will see.

I didn't realize there was even that much elevation change there. Hopefully next time I can make it.

Is not a whole lot of climbing, only one long one but very doable, like Bikeadict said last night "is the perfect SS ride", hope you can make it next time.

That is a little less than 12 miles almost all singletrack, about right for a night ride.

I ride with helmet and handlebar lights but you need at least one, I have the low end light made by Nite Rider, is called Trail Rat, I just can't see myself spending a lot for lights when all you need is at least a 10 watts light, plus riding with a group it helps also.
