What an incredible day it was. We got a late start which was fine, as it was just the wife and I out on a fairly mellow ride. We were rewarded with serenity, and beauty. We didn't take too many pics as we were too busy riding and soaking in the splendor of what happened to be a perfect day for us. I have to commend Team Smitty and give his friends a big thanks for rebuilding the bridge as its predacessor (sp) was delapitated. This new one is just incredible and should last a long time.
We started at the dog park and made our way down down down, cruising along and picking new (to us) offshoots of ST here and there...why not, it was a leisurly jaunt. In some areas the greenery is so tall, when my wife was riding along it looked like she was swimming in a sea of green swerving around a bend and through another sea of green wonder. We saw bones, deer bones perhaps, and what was once a big blue comfy chair. We witnessed raptors soaring high and low, and smiled with delight. We only encountered one other person, a rider, he was traveling opposite direction of us and he seemed caught up in the trails spell as well.
On with the few pics we took, and please understand we had to reduce the size to fit here on STR, so the quality will not be as it is on the origionals.
Enjoy your ride

What a great winter season we are having. I have been riding trails that I would have never have done if it was not for all the green and wild flowers out. And better yet next week at this time we will have a extra hour to explore afterwork.

You found some lovely blue dicks!

See, you never know what you'll find on the trails...

I may be wrong but didn't someone from STR rebuild one of those bridges? I seem to recall a thread about it a while back. It looks really nice, maybe I should have them come over to my place and install a small whistler in my back yard. Very nice work.

Great pics!
