Hey el_d00der and Quadad it was great to run in to you guys at LPQ this morning, Brian thank you for showing us again your ultra secret entrance to "Tunnels" and it was nice of you to mark it with a million tire tracks so we can find it next time.
BTW you new SS is sweet, we need to have a "Hike a SS Fest" soon.

funny that entrance is the same one i've been going to since i first stumbled on the spot. i don't know how i keep finding it...

We'll have to do the LPQ epic soon. I don't know if it would be worth your drive though.

i dont mind the drive, heck i drive 55 miles to ride Fully Loop. LPQ should be more worthy. just set it on a saturday though.

San Diego STR,

Sometime soon we should invite the whole STR Group out to PQ. It would be nice to have turn like Daley Ranch last year. I know it was titled as a Newbie Ride. But actually it was a great day for everyone to meet up before and after.

I wouldn't mind volunteering as host for a Tunnels Tour plus exploring/riding everything else. 20+ miles

* Did I mention in STR about the Big Ride at Sycamore Canyon next Sunday? It's going to be a casual pace but we'll ride everything from South to North. You name it we're riding it. * Switchback Mountain for sure!

I voted for LPQ for the Sladnas ride, but PacMan quickly pointed out how bad it would be towing 60 peeps through Tunnels.

What the Pac mentioned is true for sure. I was just thinking about that as well after posting the tread. I would be heading down the Shitz while 1/2 the group is still lost in Tunnel water crossings somewhere LOL

I would also highly recommend against a HUGE group doing Tunnels. It's just not meant for huge groups. All the fun will be taken out of the trail if there is a huge traffic jam. I don't think there are that many active SD'ers here are there? So maybe it'll just work itself out. I'd be up for a group ride there. I live right by it.
