Killer Trails, great people, and One Man Down.

We had a good group of riders for the ride. We started the ride with 14 riders. About 10 minutes in Cragar (I think) went OTB on the 2nd bridge, possibly broken clavicle. I hope your OK. Two guys went with him to make sure he got out alright. So we finished the ride with 11.

Rest of the ride was pretty uneventful. Met some great peeps and put some faces to names. The trails were in great shape. This is a great place for SS. I need to get out there again and do some exploring, I know there is alot of trails Ive never been on out there.

Next time I go out there I will tow a lawn mower behind me for that section of steep fire road towards the back.

Good times. Cragar, let us know whats up. Foo, I hope your feeling better- great job pushing through in the middle of being ill.

I spoke with Gary (complexx) who walked craig out to be picked up by his wife to go to the ER. Craig when you get a chance bro, let us know how you are. Got a few pics that i'm uploading

everyone grouping up for the roll out.

I wished i was rolling vid on this, it was really cool to see everyone snake across the two bridges

Some more crossings

Here's Cragar clearing the first bridge

Took my eyes away for a split second and I heard an "Oh someone fell off the bridge" he was going fast just fell the right way into the embankment heal up Craig

Here's powerline...it looked so different during summer when it was bulldozed now it's GREEN and the grass hides a lot of evil ruts

It's crazy when you look back at it and see how friggin steep it is

that was all i got today too busy HAB on the last part of the ride OMG that was a hike

this one's for you houseofmusic...just missed you sticking your tongue out

major props to complexx...he's done this to himself before so he knew exactly what to do. Craig was surprisingly calm through all this...

You can see me feeling your bones in one of Foo's shots, that was when i knew you for sure had broken it because i could feel where the bone seperated.

No worries man, honestly, when i broke my collar bone i was riding solo and remember how much dragging all my gear back to the car sucked. You and i both know how awful trying to get your bike out of that place would have been. I always try to look on the bright side in situations like that.... i just tell myself that many more trips to san clemente single tracks are in the future.

Looks great out there, I love the single tracks! Sorry to hear about your accident Cragar. Last time I rode out there was Jan 13 and I went off one of those bridges took about a 7 To 8 foot fall onto the back of my head, neck, and shoulder. Broke my neck at C6 & C7 pretty scary. Am recovering well. Have had a brace on to keep neck immobile since. See the doc again next friday and see if I can take neck brace off or not. Can't wait to get back on the bike!!!!

Hey Mtnbikerfred, a couple friends and I saw you out there. I was the out of shape guy huffing and puffing on a gray XCL. I haven't been on these forums for a long while.

After you two went on your way, I spotted those motorcycles way down in the valley behind us. Unfortunately, they were way too far away for us to do anything about, but it sure made me mad to see their tracks on the trail..
