That's the little GoPro Digital Hero MrsMtnbikerfred gto me for Christmas. I was totally shocked. It takes great video for a $100 camera. All I did was edit the video together with windows movie maker and threw it up on Youtube in about an hour.

I said it before: I hope Commplex is around to help me when I crash.

Julia did great, and I think she's getting what I was talking about (leaning the bike over) to get around tight turns. This will help her 4x and BMX a bunch and it's a great way to train 'cause you do have to climb a little. We did one medium lap (I was kinda lost n between trails I knew were there somewhere) and two short laps to the bottom and back out the quickest way. She was diggin' it except for a couple of the bridges.

These are the best single tracks I've ever ridden. Thanks for putting together this ride Uncle Rico.

SCST rocks!! Glad you had fun on your first time there Jeff! Definitely worth the drive.

Great video Fred! Maybe Julia will be ready for the CC next year?

Sorry to hear of the rider down issue. It might be because everyone is riding the trail the wrong way.

Here's a short story about the begining of "Holeshot": It was made from the bottom up as an uphill trail. I seriously said "we need to go up this draw some how" So I took off on my SS 29er and weaved my way up the hill through the dead grass. When we got up about 3 turns, looked back and said "It's cool but we might need a bridge over that one spot"......."no! we're gonna need 2 bridges right in a row to make it super easy to climb"
The moral of the story is: They are nessesary evils.

I saw a used IV fluid bag about a month ago at the recently replaced bridge at the bottom of Holeshot. Was that from your accident Bobcat? I hope a speedy recovery for both bobcat and Complex! I was bummed I wanted to ride with you guys but I had to watch my kid and got there around 10am. Riding back there is a blast! I'll have to catch you guys next time.

Hey all it was a good ride on Sat even though poor Crager went OTB on the bridge. I hope you get better man and I must say you took the injury like a MAN!! You could not even tell that he had something broken. Thanks Uncle Rico for leading the ride and whew I am glad I was technically on time for the ride. I arrived at 8:26AM took off riding at 8:30 . Props to Foo for truckin along man for getting over being sick and on the SS you were still just truckin along. Thanks to the big guy friend of Duan's for hooking me up with some water after I ran out 3/4 into the ride. The SCST are a blast and I would go back to ride again!!

Hey Uncle Rico did you get that Ice Cream and Peanut butter for your wife after the ride?
