Once again, Happy Birthday Andy!!!

A SPECIAL Thank You should be extended to ANDY, those in attendance and to those who donated raffle items. The event raised over $2,000 for the Village of Hope!

Note: I believe a lady (who was not with our group) got up from her table to make a donation! Don't know her name. I do know she wanted to help!

a great time was had! we used this as an excuse to get out of the house (see the flea problem thread in The Pub) and catch up with y'all

thanks to EVERYONE who held our kiddo (the little bald thing dressed in pink)- she spent too much time with me this weekend and was getting tired of me...like i blame her- i get tired of myself!

...and a thanks to Dino for attempting to get my wife to "let" me ride more. truth is, you didn't help or hinder.

final score:

Dino: 0
My Wife: 1

(sorry Dino- she's as much of a smart azz as the rest of us- also, getting out to ride with a 6 month old at home is pretty much always hindered by the kid, and not my wife)

quite the fun time! a good cause

---of course, I'm referring to the raffle funds, not you, Andy

for those that don't know who i am or what i look like, I'm the fat guy on the right...

thanks to KeepsWhat for the unflattering photo.

I had a great time as always when hanging out with this group. Glad to see such a good turnout for 2 great causes the celebration of Rut joining the senior circuit and raising money for the homeless. Big props to you Andy for putting all this together.

I knew that negotiation went WAY too smoothly!
Can't blame a guy for trying.

Anyone have a pic of HUGH holding the baby?

So here is the lowdown.
We raised $2000 with your help.
I was really stoked with the companies that helped out. Some of them have never heard of me. I simply asked and they offered. l am thankful for all of them.

I would especially like to thank Tumbleweed for all the love and help.
Tani at The Path for not even asking questions....just giving.
Neil at Adrenaline Bikes for the giving till it hurt
Banning at Bannings Bikes for wanting to help a noble cause
Sherry for asking what else she can do
Shimano, Adidas Eyewear, Crank Brothers, Deity, Ellsworth Bikes, Hoss Technical Gear and of course The Tustin Brewery!

Even more important was the participation of you. Thank you as well.

Here are a few photos of the event. If my mac doesn't want to cooperate, here is the link to the photos

http://www.socaltrailriders.org/gall...at=1264&page=2

Here I am getting ready for the urban ride

Lee kept winning all weekend long

Jason and Willie came away with some really cool coasters

Part of the "hard core" urban race course

Some more of the race course

Next Mondo demo's the skillz of true urban madnezzz

Scott, Tim and Jordan keeping it real at The Path Pre-party

Here Vickie wins some Adidas Sunglasses.. or was I the real winner here??

Roger is a winner no matter what!

Finally I have a photo of SlowSSer's little darling daughter Faith, throwing up on Hugh! hahahahahaha

thanks!

I'm very proud to be associated with the STR community, over the past few weekends we have come together to help less fortunate people in our communities.

Thank you Andy for choosing such a worth while cause....And Happy Birthday Mang!

Tim....my son saw your shirt and thought it said "mooseknuckles" we all had a great laugh over that!
