**WARNING**
Video can cause a CLOVERFIELD/BLAIR WITCH PROJECT affect ![]() Well...the day started a bit late...but my cousin and I drove off to the Switzer trail around 11:30am. Got to the trail head around 12 (noon). On the drive up we saw snow on the mountain and wondered if there would be snow on the trail ![]() We gear up and head off to the trail. After the first turn we run into a patch of snow and ride on thinking it wouldn't be too bad. But of course we were wrong. We went slow...we have never ridden in snow before...which resulted to me falling (end of this vid)![]() ![]() We then continue on and i try to film my cousin on the helmet cam. On doing so...i was trying too hard to aim the camera on my cousin i CRASHED!!! I should have just ridden like normal and hope the helmet cam would get my cousin. Crash is shown on the video at the end... ![]() Towards the end...no more snow and riding was back to normal. ![]() ![]() Overall...the trail is still fun, watch out for the torn down limbs (not branches) of trees, snow, and running streams (aren't there during the summer). Lesson learned...i noticed in the end that...when i try and aim the helmet cam and fallow a rider...i don't really pay attention to the trail which is a BIG Camera used was a CHEAP tony hawk helmet cam (15fps) which was mounted to the right side of my helmet. Please excuse the poor footage ![]() **note to other riders** please stay on the trail, i have seen some tire marks going over some of the retaining walls and some new cut-offs created which could result to erosion. I have blocked some of those illegal paths with rocks. I would hate to see this trail closed to bikes ![]() |
