Hey everybody,

What a fantastic day for riding yesterday! I want to thank all Warrior guides that showed up to make this ride happen. It's bittersweet being able to ride the course. I am comforted there will be no surprises, but also got a refresher on how much it is going to HURT and it will hurt REAL BAD!!!

I was really impressed with all the ladies that rode yesterday. Rachel, Collette, Suzanne, I aspire to see you out there during VQ even if it's for a little while.

Paula, you are stronger than ever and have come a long way from last year ... I am routing for you!!!

Vickie, my special training bud, you are so dear to my heart. I have seen you completely transform despite the huge hurdles; asthma, juggling 2 jobs, training, trying to have a social life and getting sick on top of it all. I can't wait to hug you and see you beaming with feather in hand 2 weeks from now!

Danielle, "lil Brown", the youngster, can't even tell you were sidelined with an injury! Thanks for the laughs as always. Loved the tampon angel dangling from your bicycle seat yesterday. CC/VQ will be a tough fight between our body and minds, but we are not alone.

Gene and WS - Thanks for setting up the ride... great day and great company.

Keith - Nice meeting ya and thanks for the pix... I didn't spend nearly enough time to enjoy the scenery.

Steve - If you're on STR... good to see ya again... thanks for waiting up and witnessing my bizarre flat!
