RR: La Costa Trails
Can you all believe the weather we had today? Simply put....Beautiful.
We (Dirty Boo) and I had met up with a couple folks from here, and their friends. Of particular interest was Rico and Dakota. I don't believe Rico has signed up here yet, so it is safe to say that Dakota isn't here either, as Dakota is his dog who is responsible enough to keep clear on the trail and carry her own water (pretty cool). Singleminded was here as well..he burned up the hill on his Siren, then bombed down Nascar....props to you. Sorry, i can't remember your friends name..I'm lame  We rode with the Sniffer who was his usual self...you all know what I mean...his propensity to sniff things  "Fat What" was there in all his marsupial glory as well. Something interesting to note about Fat What, it seems he wasn't content in driving his bike into the Pizza Port arch last week, so I guess he figured he might as well do some damage to himself...today. I don't know how many of you have had the opportunity to ride with the Sniffer, but I have noticed a disturbing trend...4 out of the last 5 rides I have participated with him on have resulted in someones unfortunate accident. So just beware if you plan on accepting any invitations from him to go on a ride as you may be next in line for the carnage. Onto the pics...theres a bunch, courtesy of Dirty Boo. I'm not sure how to label these all individually, and I don't have the patience either...she took about 200 pics, I'll post a lot but not all....And they had to be downsized quite a bit, so if the quality is low its because of that..so sorry  O.K. onto it already... Even More!!!
The Sniffer was feeling hesitant here as this is where he got himself an ouchie a couple weeks back at this very spot.....He didn't want to cheat and lower his seat. Its steeper than the pictures make it out to be. |
