I don't have any trail photos (after having water damage in my SD800IS the 950 stayed in a ziplock baggy deep in my Camelbak today), but we did find out where the end of the rainbow is.

Oh yeah, the ride. I was soaked right away. The rain seemed to let up briefly, but we turned again and the wind was whipping and it was drizzling even more. I was ready to turn around. Justin decided not to continue without me, so we all turned around. Not a good day for me. I didn't feel bad, but once my feet started swimming in a pool of cold water, I just couldn't take it anymore.

We saw like 4 other people out today.

FWIW, Matt said that SDMBA is doing trailwork again in 2 weeks. Everytime they do trailwork it rains. Someone PLEASE tell them to hold off until like 3/15!!

Gallon size zip lock bags stashed in my camelback for emergency use have saved my feet plenty of times!
Tear off the zip part and wear under the socks.
Kind of like a wetsuit I guess.
Worked out well in Colorado on my head one time after being caught in a back country rain storm.Oh, except I had pancakes and syrup from Durango diner in the bag that I had to eat so I got syrup all over my head but man, I was warm!
Is that why that bear was following me??
