We had a blast today! Thanks to Nir for leading us and for the 18 STR peeps who showed up. More later....

It was a good ride. Next time I'm hitting Backbone to add some more mileage though. There were some fun stunts to play on. Watching lurker Jeff string that stuff together was impressive. Thanks for putting this together Nancy and also thanks to Nir for being a patient guide.

thanks for putting up with me! really enjoyed meeting so many new folks. now full blown sick along with 2 of my kids (probably helped keep me more quite than usual yesterday )...may need to trade in my kids for a new bike

OK gang,sorry it took so long but I am LOUSY at uploading and sorting! Madame Dabalot and I had a great ride with each and every one of you. It was very cool to watch the gap jumpers and sideways sliders on the steeps! Major kudo's to big guy Rich. First he gets major jump style points and then he rocks our world with a pretty bad crash on a bad landing! Then he shocks us even more by continuing on a long fire road climb with a bum knee. Everyone seemed to have a good time in Sullivan Cyn. which was really flowing with water and pretty torn up. Sully always changes in the winter but I love winding through the stream. It's another world down there and I'm so glad it's so close to me. I finally got to meet Denmother and Roger. It was great to ride with you. She was like a little turtle stuck on it's back when she slipped on a pipe and couldn't for the life of her seem to get up. Nasty elbow cut. Owch! Hey, were you laying in the stream or did you miss the water? Lots and lots of people out heading up the trail. More than usual so I guess it was the big day out before the storm. Be patient while I upload more pics andif anyone wants to give me lessons. There's gotta be a faster way!

I had a great time out there with all you talented people! Watching Denmother clean that big downhill was a treat! Those that can't can still have fun watching! Thanks, dirtmistress, for the photos. I am glad the one of lurker Jeff came out so well. She was in the ditch for the shot and timed it perfectly!

I had a great time riding with everyone. It was fun watching everyone blast down that step section and jump those gaps. Met a lot of new folks and I look forward to riding with everyone again. Thanks for the photos dirtmistress.
