Default Head's Up on the Fullerton Loop

Hey all, just a quick warning. The tree in Hiltscher Park with the low branch, just before the first Euclid crossing, has apparently sagged somewhat further.

I usually duck slightly, and give the branch a slap as I pass under . Well, went to do the same today, and almost brained myself on the damn thing--it's that much lower. Not a huge deal in the daylight (if you're paying attention ), but at night could be downright ugly.

With more rain tonight it'll likely only sag more, so just be on your toes the next time out.

Thanks Dell. Maybe I'll buy one of these to roll on the loop and avoid a concussion.

Sometime's it's good to be short...this would be one of them.

Well, it sagged a bit more. Rode a quick lap tonight, and the tree has now fallen completely and is lying across the trail. Probably be cleaned up by Thursday, but in the meantime is easily ridden around.

Hole before the tunnels has partially returned as well.

Loop was great this afternoon. I saw a lot of trees laying down (not on the trail) around the Horse ring area before the lake. I picked up a thorn or something on the way back down to Euclid right around the new turn out before the sidewalk. Felt a little squishy coming up to the lake and then very squishy after the lake!!! Lucky it's mostly down back to the courthouse!!!
