Pain Freak

I didn't want to get the other thread to bogged down so I thought this may help.
It was another awesome day out there for the SoCalTrailriders. I lost track of how many firsts, but there were a lot.

and I'm sure I'm missing a bunch, but these were the ones I was sure of.

What a day, great racing and the pro reace was decided by about 6 seconds. DDB and I hung out and rooted the racers on. The day started of on the cool side, but by the time the racers went off it had warmed up nicely.

I guess I could of raced as there were about 4 guys in my class, so it would of been fun. I rode the course and I thought it was one of the best I've rode for a race. It favors the younger crowd and guys who have been training with a lot of intervals will love it. I was really impressed with the lap times, these folks were flying.

I didn't stick around for the formal results, but I believe, Justin, Allison,Jessy,and a few others from here picked up firsts. Guys/Gals, please fill us in on how you did.

Here's the Mann show. He looks like he's out for an afternoon stroll, but he kicked some arse out there today,Good job, Justin!



Allison's bottle didn't fit in the bottom so she made do with it in her jersey, but her bike is still sweet and it's a small so this time when she sells a bike I might get a deal?



Not sure who this little guy is, but he gave it his all and was doing really well.

Coates rider, but I don't know him. He was doing very well...



Allison, tearing it up. Funny how she makes it look so easy, but she was out front here with Steph just a short ways behind her.



SDYeti, but not make it look as easy as Allison, but she sure was working. This lady has got grit!



How can she keep smiling?



All smiles and she was talking to us too. I'd be throwing up.

Again, what's with all the smiles girls, isn't this supposed to hurt?



D.Diamond running with the pro's I think he just barely missed the money (5th?)



I was impressed how these guys were working together, kind of like a road race. Give them some more distance and they may have taken it.

That hill needs an e thrown in it was HELL. I didn't see a single super racer clean it !Wish I could have seen the course hope the rest played through a bit better and had a great time. Andy always has a smile and others threw a few hand signs (good kind) as they passed. Great racing and hike-a-biking?? I'll post 4X tomorrow off to bed if I don't float away.

I said it last race and I'll say it again, Sharky rocks. She's all over the place taking pictures and always with a kind word and support! It's people like her, and David, Allison, Justin, Maxwell and Dino (those are the guys I know) that have made the last two races so much fun. It's a blast knowing people and cheering them on and being cheered on. If I had known racing was going to be this much fun (even when you come in last place) I would've started it years and years ago...back when I had weekends off!!!!
