Hole In the Ground ~VIDEO~
 Okay in keeping with my current trend of taking nearly half a year to get a video out here is the video of the “Hole In The Ground” trail near Truckee in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Northern California. The music might be a little cheeseball but I dig both the tune and the lyrics and it just seems to match the flow of the trail that day. This group also has a special place in my heart. On New Years Eve 1988 (Maybe 89), I went to a concert at the San Diego Sports Arena where I saw a group called the “Love Tractor” open up for “The Red Hot Chilli Peppers” who in turn opened up for these guys. Very nice Bill, you filmed that about a month before we where there last year. It is very hard for me to pick a favorite Tahoe Trail, I have yet to find a bad one.
You got me thinking about my summer road trips...with the amount of snow this year, hole in the ground may not be ridable until the end of July. Dean

Great video, I rode that trail a couple times last July, its a ton of fun. I only puked once at the top of the switch backs. Thanks for a great web-site MTBBill......It fills a void when I can't get out and ride. Your photography has inspired me to get my own Dslr and start shootin'.....Almost as fun as knobbies on dirt!

we hit up that trail a few years ago. fun trail, but a tad too much up/down/up/down for me. i like all up, then all down, but for sure it had some great descending. another little medium ride that was pretty fun we did up there was standford rock/ward creek.

Nice video Bill. Who were the riders? Most of your videos have certain riders who seemed to be absent for this video.
