Default RR: Chino Hills State Park - Eastside Fun - 01/21/08...Uh I mean Fontucky.

Well due to the lack of interest and me not checking the post after 9 pm the night before. The fear of Rain and Time constraints moved this ride to another Location.

osmarandsara and I hit up the XC trail at Southridge instead. The course is better suited for wet weather and it doesn't close like CHSP when it looks to rain. So we hit up that route.

This was my first time on this course. I'm not going to name the trails we rode, mainly because I don't know them, but if you done the course set up for the race, then you've done what we did. We took it kind of slow because, again, this was my first time on the course. Rode it in around 1hr 10min. We stopped a couple of times along the way and re-rode a couple of obstacles.

This was a good ride, but it has made me realize I need to do a lot more training before I try to tackle one of the races.

Actually, as far as I know, the different sections of trail do not have names.....the whole thing is just the Southridge Race Course.....

It would be cool to name the different sections....like maybe the pavement-dirt climb could be "Mt. SOB" followed by MT. SOB singletrack....

The Sandy flat section could be called "The Beach", the second Climb could be MT. SOB II followed by MT. SOB II Single-track...

The Eucalyptus forest is self-explanatory, the third climb could be called Toxic Dump (followed by Toxic Dump Single-Track) since the String-fellow Acid Pits are just on the other side of the ridge...

The flat sections from the Culvert to the last Hill Climb could be Fontucky Flats and then the last flat section (next to the canal) could be called Eyesore Alley.

Oz you got my vote with these. So, who do we have to bribe to get them nailed down?
