RR: Cayucos Beach Singletrack(Central Cali)
While we were on Christmas vacation at San Francisco my girlfriend and I brought our bikes to see if we could get a chance to ride some trails.
We didn't get a chance to ride anything in Northern California except for the riding at the Naval Academy at the end of the Golden Gate bridge in Marin. On our last day we stayed in San Simeon and went to Hearst Castle. We didn't have to go to Hearst Castle til 11:00 so we woke up early and looked for somewhere to ride. As we traveled down PCH I noticed someone hiking along the beach. Seemed like they were on Singletrack. We decided to check it out and were pretty glad we did. The riding was pretty much flat which was fine because she's still getting used to the bike. The views were incredible. Check out the pics     For Allison              |

Cayucos is a very nice place on the central coast, girlfriends parents have a beach house there, but didn't know of any trails there...i know Morro Bay has a couple trails...nice pictures!

Thanks for posting this Rob. Linda and I go that way a few times a year, so it would be nice to have easy places to stop and ride.

Great pics! Bruce and I live in Morro Bay, look us up next time you guys are up there. We've found some great mt biking trails.
