Default trabuco creek road conditions?

Anyone know if Trabuco Creek road up to holy jim/trabuco is open/driveable? I heard that over the weekend the road was closed due to puddles/rain damage.

Yeah! I wanna tear up the trails!
nah- i'm thinking about riding Trabuco or holy jim tomorrow; just wondering if I'll be able to drive to the trailhead, or have to pedal up the dirt road. I may do san juan or chiquito instead; still undecided.

I drove up it on Sunday, there were some deep water crossings, its was a little muddy, not too bad.
But I was there to do some product testing on our new LR3. She passed, left a few Jeeps in the dust.
3 days ago a 4X4 was probably needed, not sure about now, it must be much drier.

Lets just say my LR does not have low profile tires with 20" chrome wheels. It also sees more then just the Toll roads and Starbucks Drive Thrus.
This Rover lives up to its grand daddy in Solihull England.

FYI my vehicle is a '93 toyota half-ton pickup, not a 4x4, not raised. Offroad tires though. Done a fair share of off-road driving with it, driven up Trabuco Creek road plenty, but there have been times the puddles were too deep for it. just wondering if tomorrow would be one of those times

Sweet...about time i meet someone that actually uses their ride for its intended purpose!
Over all, how many stars out of 5 would you give your LR3 (the girlfriend was looking at the LR3, H3 and maybe the LR2-bit pricey on that one)
Pros vs Cons?

Thanks

I love it. 5 out of 5. I had the Discovery before this one.
But I always recommend buying from a Rover dealer., you gotta have warranty. Things get expensive quick on Rovers. As far as off road capability and luxury, I think they are second to none. It will eat the H3 and H2 for breakfast. But of course I am biased.

Crash - Trabuco Creek Road should be fine by now. Only thing to remember is after the model airplane field there is a split in the road. Take the tight split after rains as there is a big mud/water pit on the left after it rains.

Have good ride and don't forget the Adventure Pass. If you need one the Trabuco Oaks General Store usually sells them. That is 1/4 mile west of Trabuco Creek Rd/Trabuco Canyon Road on the right (north) side.

Thanks Jon. Yeah I know exactly where that puddle is! i always get an annual adventure pass. But, i think i might climb San Juan instead, and save holy jim/trabuco for another day when I'll have more time.
