Today myself hardcharger,shinken,nomad,bryguy17,lambda drive and his friend law,back of the pack and sprockethead I think, (chime in If that is wrong and you rode today) rode the loop.It was a fun ride, it was nomads third lap and it was law and lambda drives first STR ride.Law and lamda drive (harold) being it their first ride and had some cramping issues. Harold was hurting at Gus Grisom but with a little encouragement he completed the loop.Good job both of you guys and thanks to all who showed up.I did not bring a Camera so those who took pics please post them up.Thanks to all who came.

Damn I wanted to ride somewhere. Had I of know that you guys were riding the loop I woulda joined ya.

I didnt take pics of the group ride, but I stopped at the new jumps that were built recently. These were taken from my Treo so the quality is very poor... sorry. (pretty big jumps too)

ill agree, it was a fun ride. nice meeting a bunch of you guys (some for the second time). also, good job to lamda drive and law, you guys did a good job of sticking through it. just like i said, it will get better over the next couple rides, and then the real fun starts

perhaps i'll need to do something like nomad and do 3 laps around the loop in one day, then i'll be cool

For my 2nd time at the loop I had a great time again. More new faces to the names. Only took a couple photos but here they are.

Those ramps look horribly built!Not that I would try them if better built!

My legs are sore from running the single speed gearing. Had to give it a go to see if I could keep up with you.

Where are those jumps? Are they after the tunnels on the left-hand side?

Ya, they'll be on the left-hand side, on a clearing, before the final left (that goes up) towards the dam.

Nope, I haven't hit those jumps and I don't think I ever will. I didn't go on Danny's ride today, we didn't get to the loop till 6:30pm. Did 2 laps in 1:55, not bad for us.

Riding my XC bike makes a big difference.

wow those look horrible I've jumped some bad jumps but it doesnt look like the kids that built those had a clue I'll have to check them out see if anything is worthy
