I'd rather be climbing...
|
Man, that looks like fun. I'll have to cash in that open invite to ride Turnbull that has been sitting in my PM inbox for a few months.
Just let me know when you're going next, Dino. I'm there. Fully rigidable? Or is full squish more appropriate?

Don't touch me!

I just saw this thus my late response...
This is great, man. Congratulations! Don't stop and keep pushing yourself. ![]() Consider yourself fortunate to have friends who care enough to push you and want to motivate you into being healthy and active. I did that to a current riding friend a few years ago. He started out @ 5'11 and 270 and in 9 months he dropped down to 185 lbs. At first, he'd tire riding his bike from his garage to the street but within 12 months, I was struggling to keep up with him and I was riding a lot then. I rode him hard and the results were phenomenal! He still rides but like I, has had a few injuries and he's not been as regular. He's put back on 35 lbs. Part of that is the lack of exercise and most of it is the way he eats. He won't hold back and it's showing. Once his knee is recovered from recent ACL surgery, I'll ride him hard again. Don't take it personally when your pals do the same. They just want what's best for you. Great job, dude. This is just the beginning of your new life and new lifestyle.
