Default sedona Holiday Day 6

Well all the boys were back in action. Amazing how fast the body can heal when you are motivated, especially to ride in Sedona.

Scott led us on one of the premier Sedona rides. Submarine Rock, Chicken Point, Llama and Mystic. Tech climbs, rocks, slick rock, more rocks, steep tech descents, rocks and fast flowing single track with a few more rocks. This was really Mat’s first experience playing on the slick rock. He even took a Kool aid sample on the spot.

A couple of pics.

Even though I was riding hurt I had a good time. I usually come back from Arizona a better rider, this time I came back a better hiker.

Where the hell is the pic of the Turner Tree?

Matt, how's that rigid ride doing Sedona? Everywhere there are challenges that are fun with a geary, but I'm amazed at you for riding a full rigid bike out there.

No Good Ol Slappy sighting?

I think Slappy was intimidated when he heard that Mat was really kicking some a#@ on his SS. That boy can ride! He did everything in Sedona while keeping pace with "the Junkie". But it should be noted...he did taste the Kool Aid

We missed you Nick, that BBQ was especially good right in the middle of a big loop day. Dean and Scott really enjoyed the DQ they discovered too.

It doesn't look like a full house three 5 spots and a couple 6's (packs)

Everyone on the ride that day was on a Turner. I think it was Lynn who said that between just the riders there we had 9 Turners.

Haha...dude, you (and I, for that matter) haven't seen me ride lately. Well...as long as you don't mind waiting at the top of the climbs for me.
