Default Sedona Holiday Day 2

Dean joined us this morning. It’s a pretty chilly 30 something degrees in the morning so we killed some time waiting for it to “warm” up a little bit. I don’t think it got too much beyond 40 degrees all day.

We headed out towards Carroll Canyon to Old Post then over towards the Dry Creek Area. Started on ended up on Girdner. Dean was going for some major huckage, unfortunately the rocks got a piece of him too, he managed to do fancy super-man, rolling comb on ended up smacking his arm pretty good.

He’s still in one piece and his arm seems to be doing much better since he was really diligent about his
vitamin “I” and ice.

If you don't like rocks..don't come to Sedona. It is frustrating riding out here and not being 100%, I need everything that have to ride these trails. I can't lift my front tire and drops hurt. Besides my arm...bone bruise it think... I sprained both wrists. I am still riding but walking lot. Right now the RFX is much harder to ride hurt so I am riding my RIP with the seat low to keep the weight off my arms. I put shorter cranks and a bash on the RIP to help with pedal clearance, it is no the RFX but better than it was.

The good news is that I did not crash and end up in the catus like my friend Burner...
