LPQ Update

I went for a quickie today. Started at the house, went up Eucalyptus, down Carmel Mtn. Took the fireroad down to cobbles. Up powerlines down by Hooterville. Fire road back to Eucalyptus and home.

First of all, it was cold as h e double hockey sticks.

Eucalyptus was all torn up with horse hooves.

Cobbles was not incredibly different, but those waterbars are pretty tall. They're like steep jumps. They were speedbumps for me today.

Powerlines has gotten hard-packed. Hopefully tunnels has too.

The S#!ts was closed.

The Hooterville goat was out. We threw the football a little...

Overall, it should be good for the 1st night ride.

The $h!t$ has been closed for awhile. I wonder what the deal is. Everything was good and packed in on my last ride there a few days ago.

The Tunnel is in great shape now, was there on tuesday morning and had a great time.

I rode the Shitz today... My bad I wasn't paying attention. Where was the sign posted? I didn't see it anywhere in the beginning or by the puddles before the short climb out.
But I have good news ) Nothing wrong with the shi@!$ at all. Rode it fast and smooth this afternoon. Cobbles was different in some areas. OK to ride it in either direction.

Tunnels It was for sure ridden before others allowed it to dry up.

PQ all good to ride.

Right at the entrance over by the power lines.

There was the usual "Park Closed" sign on the fireroad.

I was tempted to ride by it. I'm sure they just haven't gotten around to taking the sign down. I was short on time...

I think people must be messing with it. It said OPEN at the beginning of our ride a few days ago.
