Man made jumps @ the Fullerton Loop

Rode the loop yesterday and noticed some huge jump/ramps on the grassy hill on your left right after you pass the golf course but before you reach the dam/quarry area, seems to be about 3 jumps, 2 of them are dirt and the 3rd was a super sketchy wood jump that looked poorly constructed....anyone else see these.

lol I think I know of the last wood jump that you're talking about. Spotted it at the Swap Meet ride. Shoulda seen the kids setting it up

Yeah, we seen them putting it up, but really didn't stop to talk about it. I want no part of that thing. Where do we send the "Get Well" cards?

I work at St Jude and walk down to the loop on my break. They've been working on that for a couple of weeks now. I don't know if it's the same kids, but there is a bmx track that someone built on the other side of the stream.

I'm sure I'll be giving one of them a CT scan sooner or later.

I hear that man, i'm a Respiratory Therapist @ Long Beach Memorial im sure if u take them to CT i'll be intubating them and putting them on a vent

i saw them when i rode by on the swap meet ride as well. One of them had already endo'd off the ramp and had a nice cut in his cheek, but not too bad. unfortunately, they seemed rather determined to be jumping out there, as that was their second jump. they tore down an earlier jump(s) when the homeowners nearby complained.

oh, just found this: im pretty sure the guy at the beginning was the one that ate crap...at least HE was wearing a helmet

Somebody got a little carried away with that vid! It looks like a simple rooky mistake.

I can't wait to heal up and go check out those jumps. They've been there for years, but last I saw, they sucked.

Yea the trails on the west side of the creek were pretty decent last time I saw them. The more I watched that vid the more it looks staged like he flipped it on purpose but I have seen plenty of people do that. Now I said something I'm due for a stupid crash
