Default SCST with Middle Boy

On Sunday after xmas shopping for mom I decided go for a ride with just my middle boy. My oldest had to finish-up some home work and the youngest was taking a nap.

So off to the San Clemente Single Tracks we went. At 2:00 the weather was cool but not cold and the trail conditions were great.

When we were done I took him to get a treat at the mini mart and then practiced some baseball. Nice day with some one on one time and just wanted to share

Great pics, thanks for sharing. I have been wanting to ride these trails, I guess I will have to play hooky soon and make it out for the Wednesday ride.

Kudos to you for encouraging your son and for riding with him. I grew up riding motorcycles with my Dad and it shaped my life (in a positive way) forever.

I can't wait for my son to be old enough to be able to ride.

my middle boy is wired different and picks up stuff fast. If you notice in the other picks he will put his inside foot down in the turns and get's his weight down on the DH stuff.

I didn't teach him any of that

He is six and has been riding bikes without training wheels when he was three.

My oldest boy didn't start riding a bike until he was six

Awesome, I'm going to have to show those pix to my son tonight. A little extra motivation to get him out on the trail with me. Since we are in between baseball and soccer seasons its the perfect time.

Hope she didn't have that bad of a heart attack! You didn't by any chance have one foot in the air ready to run when you showed it to her did you? -Lloyd

WHOA!!! You son is flyin'!! Awesome stuff. I need to get married and have some kids of my own so that I can take 'em out on the trails!

Anyone know of any single ladies looking for a highly educated and gainfully employed 33 year old male? I need to get hitched!

hook-on-bike for the four year old. Ride on the street a few times and then get him on the dirt. Something smooth to start off with.
