RR: The Golden Eagle Trail - Belated
I rode the Golden Eagle trail back in September after our first bit of rains for the season and I really thought it was great ride. Good workout, great views, nice singletrack. You know all around good stuff. I had to put making this page on the back burner due to all sorts of reasons. With the latest bit of rain we have been getting, I betting this would be a good time to ride this trail, hence I finally got around to getting some directions and stuff put together.

More Golden Eagle (belated)
OK I'll join in. I rode this in May '06 with Dan of clipdin.com and his father. At this time the area was still green.
Start with some sweet singletrack  Niner rider.  Trail through the trees. The North side of the ridge stays cool and green longer.  Rider climbing through the grove.  The 405 is way under the fog.  Another grove pic  |
